About Cyrus
Hi, my name is Cyrus! I came from the Riverland after being born to a mum who was left behind when her owner moved away. My siblings and I traveled all the way to a rescuer in Christie Downs. I'm hoping I'll find my purrever home soon!
I'm a chatty boy who loves to have conversations with my foster carer to tell her all about my day! I'm very active and playful and love exploring! I'm the most curious and adventurous of my siblings and will lead the way when exploring new environments. I looove my food and also love attention from humans. I'll seek out a pat and will meow for attention if I don't get it quick enough!
My dream home is one that has plenty of places for me to explore and one that can give me tons of love and attention!
Cyrus has been:
- Tried with cats and is great with them
- Tried with children and is great with them
- Untried with dogs

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
