About Iris
Hi, my name is Iris! I came from the Riverland after being born to a mum who was left behind when her owner moved away. My siblings and I traveled all the way to a rescuer in Christie Downs and then went all the way to foster care in Kapunda. I'm ready for my new home now. I'm hoping I'll find one soon!
I'm the smallest of my litter but I have the biggest heart! I'm full of love and affection. I'm purry, playful, and full of purrsonality! I may be small, but I'm very courageous and I'm not afraid to challenge my siblings in a playfight!
My dream home is one that has a nice lap for me to sit on and someone who can give me as much love as I want to give them!
Iris has been:
- Tried with cats and is great with them
- Untried with children
- Untried with dogs
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***

Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
