About Cosmo
Cosmo is a beautiful ginger boy with a white chest and white socks. He is a snuggle bug who can’t get enough pats!
He loves playing with the Christmas tree, chasing bugs and curling up on a lap.
He’s not so keen on the vacuum cleaner or glass bottle clinking together. Those things are scawy!!
Cosmo loves to find funny hiding spots like cupboards and boxes. He comes when called and is super affectionate.
Cosmo was born in care so is very confident around adults, kids and other cats. He hasn’t met a dog yet, but with his easy going personality, we’re sure he’d be ok with a slow introduction.
Cosmo will suit many types of homes. As long as he has a no to play in and access to your bed at night, he’ll be happy.
Age: 12 weeks
Health: desexed, microchipped and first vaccination
Location: Hillsdale

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A Property check will take place via a video call (due to Covid restrictions). Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until the date of adoption. The pet will be rehomed desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
