About Polly
Hi, I’m Polly and I’m a sweet 12 month old black and tan female Kelpie.
I’m quite shy with people at first but that doesn’t stop me from doing a full body wiggle when I get to know them. I do this when I see other dogs too.
Although I’m a young adult, I’m not super high energy and I’m happy with a good daily walk and spending the rest of the time exploring in the backyard. So far I haven't been interested in chasing balls but I love chewing on my Kongs.
I’m still a bit unsure about being in the car but I now get in and out on my own. I’m still unsure of new places and I get startled by sudden noises. I sometimes jump up when I want a cuddle but I’m gentle when I do and I take treats very carefully too. I rarely bark, sleep well during the night, walk well on a lead, have good recall and I’m toilet trained.
My ideal home would be in outer suburbia in a quiet household with a family who will help me continue to build my confidence. I get along well with other dogs and would be happy to share a home with another friendly dog or have the opportunity to socialise with other dogs regularly. I wouldn’t be suitable for a home with small children, cats or pocket pets.
If you think I’d be a good match for your family, please complete the adoption form.
Yours in paws,
Polly x

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
