Pippen is a beautiful natured dog. In his past life he hasn't experienced much apart from a backyard, so everything is new for him. He's gentle in everything he does even when playing with his carer's dog. He loves zoomies around the yard but is not particularly high energy. He's not a barker but will destroy most toys within minutes as he loves a chew... Kong toys might be good for him. He has learnt to chase the ball (doesn't return it) and likes tug of war.

Pippen is quite human needy currently although he can be left for a few hours while you work, another dog for company helps. He sleeps inside and is a dog who adores being with his humans as much as possible. He is toilet trained. He loves dogs and is very social. He's still learning what being on lead and going for walks is all about but is picking up cues from his big sister and improving well. He is very food orientated so trains well.

Pippen still gets scared of loud noises or neighbourhood dogs barking. In time this should improve but he may do best in a home without very young kids due to the noise level. He is fine with the household cats.

If you are looking for a gentle and loving family dog then Pippen is a great choice.

MEDICAL NOTES
Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
