There is so much to love about Skip that we hardly know where to start in describing this adorable, funny, playful and affectionate boy to you.

Skip and his brother Jenkins (soon to be listed on Pet Rescue) were found by a homeless person and handed over to a police officer, who took them to a local vet clinic. Undernourished, Skip weighed only 340g and didn’t know how to eat by himself.

After a week of bottle feeding in our care Skip finally started eating by himself. Hooray said his foster carer!

It was then that it was noticed that this beautiful boy only had half a tail. And it turns out this little guy was born that way.

Since then Skip has gone from strength to strength. He has shown himself to be a very sweet little ginger and white boy. Skip breaks into a purr when you pick him up and is happy to sit next to you while watching tv. He also likes being on your shoulder.

Having a stumpy tail doesn’t bother him - he knows he looks super cute when he runs!

You will need lots of food for little Skip because this boy LOVES meal times. He will climb up your leg if you take too long to feed him. He is not fussy with his food though, so that will make things easier.

The perfect home for Skip would be one with lots of activity. He would be great with a family of older children of a couple or single where there is another cat or cat-friendly dog for him to be with. Skip is social and is very used to a dog and other cats.

Skip is not a kitty suited to being an only cat who is left alone for long periods of time. So if you work from home a few days a week that would suit him very much too.

Because he is still just a baby cat, Skip does love to play but he also needs his naps as well. If you like to take naps Skip would be so thrilled to join you!

Skip has been desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. He is litter trained and as cute as a button. He is ready to go to his new home now.
