About Brax
Hi I am Brax! I have been with my current foster parents in Perth for over a month and am getting acclimatised to the big city on my daily walks. I love meeting new people and hope to one day very soon meet my new pawrents - everyone says that I am very cute when they meet me - but I do aim for the serious look in front of the camera. I am currently more of a stop and smell the roses, tree trunks, fallen leaves type of guy on my walks as it is all new to me and I want to know who has gone before me. I am getting used to bikes, cars, playground equipment, joggers, walking on a lead and general suburban Perth (but often look to my foster mum or foster sister to work out whether new things are safe - I don't bark I am just unsure as everything is so new to me), I have particularly loved exploring some of the walks around Kings Park and walking around my local lake. At home I love to know what you are doing and keep an eye on you but will then go off and rest/play on my own, I will make a good foot/lap warmer in winter. I just love people and will come running to greet you when you come home. It took me some time to get used to her but I now find my golden retriever foster sister a great playmate and she has brought me out of my shell, chasing her around the backyard and house lets me show how fast I am. I am still only a pup so I will need ongoing training but am quick to learn and love my food, I have already learnt to sit and I come running to my name and I love my food and treats. I am currently just over 9kg.
Medical Notes - Brax is a wonderful boy but does have a heart murmur. So far all this affects is his weight. He eats well but doesn't fatten up. It is a possibility that he may need medication as he ages. Estimated cost of medication if it is required could be around $100 per month. Brax's adoption fees reflect this future cost. He is totally bounced, happy and well now. Acting like a typical well rounded pupper.
