About Boo
Meet Boo, isn’t she just adorable?
She is ready for her new forever home..
-cat tolerant- INSIDE CATS ONLY
-great with other dogs. Male or female.
- needs another dog for company while you are away.
Here’s what her foster mom has to say…
Boo came to us just before Halloween – no joke! Our first walk together was on the night of Halloween, where we ran into hordes of kids trick-or-treating in their bright costumes. She was calm, even when they came for pats whilst their lightsabers were squeaking out strange noises and their faces covered by colorful masks.
She is always up for fun and is great company. She has fitted in with our 2 other girls greyhounds (an elderly 14 and bouncy 5) and two indoor-only male cats (short haired 8 and fluffy 3). Slightly shy on arriving, she has now let her cute personality shine through. She is inquisitive and curious to what goes on around her, not easily spooked by noises or things around the house. She loves to collect and display what you’ve left lying around – dog toys, socks, face masks, wrapping…. Initial chewing of things has been easily solved by a chew Kong or antlers – they’ll keep her entertained for hours. Squeaky dog toys are also a hit!
She’s got good energy and determination. She is calm on the lead and shares the good sniffing spots with our other dogs without issue. She has shown no issues with food or guarding treats – yesterday I found her eating the cat biscuits alongside the cat! She has learnt that the indoor cats are not for chasing but can tend not to listen to her name if she’s found something fun outside (possums, koalas) and will occasionally bark to let you know she’s found something.
She is thick as thieves with our younger dog, loving the play time, walks and general company; yet is happy to be on her own as well – such as sleeping in the front room alone or being inside when the others are outside. She likes her own space but does share beds – she likes the comfy ones. 😊 We haven’t had the chance to see her with little children, but I suspect she would be fine with supervision.
She works best with a quiet, gentle approach and lots of praise – she is a real softie who is looking for guidance, routine and lots of love.

Adoption details
All BTG greyhounds are Desexed, C5 Vaccinated, Wormed & Heart Worm treated prior to adoption.
They have been fostered for a minimum of 8 weeks to allow maximum training and preparation for home life.
A post adoption trial period of 4 weeks is available to help families decide if the greyhound is the right one for them.
We also offer Foster to Adopt options for those who love the idea of teaching a greyhound in their home with the view to adopt it once it has "graduated" to Home Life status. This is a wonderful experience, to watch it blossom in your own home with your guidance and love. An ideal way to make sure this is the perfect dog for you.
