About Doctor
Hi, I'm the Doctor! I'm here to save you from a boring life! Don't blink, just run straight to me and take me home!
I came into care at 5 weeks old with my mum and siblings. I'm one of the first to get my vet work done and I'm looking for the best home in all of time and space!
I'm a fun-loving boy who loves to play with toys and siblings. I also like to help you clean the litter tray, move my bed around the room and get up to all kinds of mischief! I'll keep you entertained for hours with my funny ways.
My dream home is one that can give me tons of attention, toys, playtime, and love.
Doctor has been:
- Untried with cats outside of his family
- Untried with children apart from at adoption day, he didn't seem to mind children at adoption day.
- Untried with dogs.
- Young enough that with the right introductions he will be fine with all 3.
***To be kept strictly indoors or with access to a secure enclosure only***
Doctor is approximately 11 weeks old (DOB: 1/10/22) and his adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Parasite treatment up until the date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of his current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get him started.
Doctor is available to meet at his foster carer's home in Morphett Vale.
If you would like to meet him, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and his foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet him!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
