About Luna
Rescue Hub’s Assisted Adoption.
Luna is one of Rescue Hub’s assisted adoption dogs.
This means that she is still living with her current owner while we help search for her new perfect home.
🐾 Breed: Staffy X
👧🏻 Gender: Female
🏥 Health: Desexed, vaccinated and worm & flea treated
👦 Kids: 12yrs+ who are dog savvy (currently a very jumpy girl)
🐕 Animal companions: Preferable for her to be the only dog in the home (households with another dog may be considered if separation of both dogs is possible until slow introductions can be achieved in the home) No cats
📍 Location: Albion Park, NSW
With her beautiful white coat, a glowing personality, and pure love that will light up your life, this stunning girl Luna is everything that her name stands for.
She is a 6 year old Staffy x and is one big softie!
Luna loves her outdoor time! Whether it be a ball to chase or a rope to play tug of war with, keeping her mind and body busy is the best stimulation. Regular walks is a must, with an active lifestyle being a main priority.
Luna has not had much socialisation with other dogs. She is currently living with another dog, however they are mostly keep in seperate spaces as Luna tends to be very excitable and boisterous.
While Luna is still working on her socialisation, it would be preferable for her to be the only dog in the home (unless the dogs can be separated until slow introductions can be achieved within the home).
This gorgeous girl may be shy at first, but once she is comfortable she absolutely adores spending time with her humans. She is very bouncy at the moment, wanting to communicate her excitement through jumping, so she will need patient human companions that can provide her with training and guidance in this area.
Luna can be left alone while you head to work for the day, however it is extremely important she receives the physical and mental stimulation she needs before leaving her for the day. Her new human companions will need to be committed to creating a regular routine where Luna is scheduled into their plans (just like humans, dogs need daily movement and stimulation to enable them to settle and relax 🐾)
Luna could live in a home with older kids who are dog savvy, however smaller children would not be suitable.
This clever girl is toilet trained and is familiar with both inside and outdoor living. She would need to be given the opportunity to be inside with her people, to give her the sense of comfort and security she deserves.
If you’re looking to add a furry friend into your home and understand the quirks of the Staffy breed, please consider Luna 🤍
