Meet the Jugs – Po, Pepper & Fred (available separately)

12 week old Jack Russell x Pugs.

These point sized, pug nosed pups are just perfect! 2 males and 1 female. These cutie patooties will melt your heart.

They are cheeky, inquisitive, intelligent, happy and healthy.

BUT

If you are a light sleeper this is not the dog breed for you. You won’t believe how loud they snore! It’s a symptom of the smooshed snout and soft palate and is a characteristic very common with the pug breed.

They are energetic like Jack Russells. Even though they are a small dog they must be walked daily to ensure your pup is stimulated, happy and healthy.
The breed is prone to separation anxiety. These particular pups have been very well socialised in care, but must have continued socialisation and behavioural training.

The ideal home for these little love bugs will understand these two breeds and show an understanding or past experience of managing their…. Quirks.

Unfortunately DRN don’t have any further information of the parents of the pups or any additional medical history.

Po, Pepper and Fred have started house training and are doing very well. They are comfortable around medium sized dogs and will be well suited to having a furry friend. They currently share their time in and outside and the successful home will offer the same.

You must have secure fencing. It is DRN policy for all shortlisted applicants to undergo a yard check. You must have secure fencing to be considered a suitable home.

The pups are vaccinated, however and as they are too young to be desexed, they will only be available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens and North Shore as they will need to be returned to a DRN approved vet for desexing when approximately 6 months old. Please NO out of area applications.
