About Roo
Roo is a beautiful 5 year old Kelpie that is needing a good mate.
A dream day in the life of Roo would be to wake up, sit with you for a morning coffee then enjoy a run along the beach or around a property with her owners through the wind. She’ll happily lay around you watching you work or potter around the house as well.
She’s a well-behaved and clever girl who knows sit, shake, “on your bed” and is quick to learn anything new (should you have treats at the ready). She's an absolute sook when she wants to be and will take cuddles any time, she'll look up at you with these big beautiful "love me" eyes that make it very hard to say no to.
Roo has shown some interesting behaviours since being in care with children so an adult only home would be needed for her, we would love for her to find a home on some acreage or a farm with a couple or even single male. She responds well to having a strong male in the home.
She is okay with other dogs but at times has her hair up around other females. For this reason we feel it would be safest to have her either the only dog in the home, or with a submissive male friend. Roo likes to be the boss, so having another dominant dog around could cause some conflict and stress for her we’d like to avoid.
Any home with lots of love, cuddles and play time to give. Roo would make the best companion, mate and working buddy to the right home.
If you feel you could be the right home for our Roo dog, please enquire below.
Medical notes
Roo is a happy and healthy girl who is up to date with all vaccinations and flea and worm treatment.
