Rambo (barn Cat)

We are looking for a barn home for our beautiful Rambo. Rambo was trapped in some bush land as part of a dumped colony and he's not at all socialised. Sadly this generally means unrehomable and cats like this face euthanasia because nobody will adopt a scared cat.

So to save him from that fate we have taken him on and are looking for a barn home. What's that you ask? It's when a farmer or someone with a barn for stock feed take on a desexed cat to keep the rats and mice down. Believe it or not this is actually an environmentaly friendly solution to that problem.

The cats too busy catching mice in their new barn home to bother with native animals and birds and the farmer doesn't have to use poisons on his mouse problem so helps reduce owl deaths from secondary poisoning, something that is leading to many owls becoming endangered. In return they feed them daily and worm monthly in their food.

All AWL NSW animals are Desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and lifetime registered prior to adoption.
