About Chimera
Meet the 2 beautiful 1 year 3 months and 2week old sisters, Chimera and Phoenix.
These beautiful girls were born in a home where at night time they were able to sleep on the beds.
Quite active girl who LOVE to play but also love to nap on the comfy beds that are laid out for them..
Both of these girls are lovely cats, They are okay with having a pat when they are up to it but they are still learning how to react to people giving them lots of love.
This will come with time so please don't let this stop you from coming into meet the girls, the only thing we recommend is having older kids who are going to be okay with waiting and letting them settle in.
Both have lived with dogs and loved playing with them but also get on well with other cats.
In saying all of that once the girl gets to know you they love a cuddle and just adore being around people. So please come in and meet 1 or both of these stunning girls.
To book a meet and greet with Chimera please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
