About Rusty
Home for the holidays adoption drive - adoption fee reduced to $305
Rusty is a sweet fellow, who is quite timid with new people and environments so he will need some extra TLC to help build his confidence. Rusty is looking for experienced owner who has strong understanding of the Heeler breed. Like many working dogs he has high energy level and a very active mind. Highly intelligent Rusty would benefit from attending obedience training on a regular basis to help keep his doggie manners in check, his mind active and help strengthen the bond with his new family. As with all our dogs Rusty will need a roomy yard with high secure fencing to help keep him safe.
Heeler's are a herd guard breed who are known to be playful with familiar people, but suspicious of those they do not know.
With loving and affectionate disposition Rusty is sure to become a very loyal family member.
