About Indi
Indi is a very special young lass, who needs a very special kind of home, you see Indi has Cerebellar abiotrophy, this condition is inherited from her parents/genes.
She has had a consultation with our Veterinarian, and we believe Indi has such a will to live her life, we will honour that, and find some lovely humans out there who would love a dog, who doesn't dig, nor bark, jump fences etc, and doesn't need walks every day, she's pretty easy as far as that is concerned!
Indi has adjusted to her 'wobbly world' and actually loves her life, she wags her tail, and will follow your feet, she plays with nice dogs, when they understand her and they have a lovely game, she loves people and cuddles, loves children, andis fine with all other animals, oh, and food is a wonderful treat, she makes the most of what life has to offer!
Indi can manage a few stairs on her own, so we are looking for a retired home, with a nice safe yard, hopefully another dog to play with, although that is not a deal breaker, if we can find her the right home with patience and love, she does not need to go for daily walks, as a nice yard and happy life is all she requires, life is enriching enough for her in a familiar environment!
If you feel you could love Indi, as we do, and would like to chat further about her, and her condition, we are more than happy to chat with you.
We prefer she doesn't travel too far, so within 50Kilometres from her foster home would be enough for her, however, short trips in the car are fine, and she copes really well, she adjusts to new surroundings extremely well.
We look forward to chatting with you about our special girl soon :)
Medical notes
Indi has Cerebellar Abiotrophy, this condition causes dogs to have exaggerated movements in their legs, (kind of goose stepping) there is no cure for this condition, and most dogs can continue to live a happy life.
