About Lilly - 10 Week Old Mixed Breed Puppy
Lovable Lilly of the Valley. Puppy love in abundance.
Offering so much affection, you’ll never have a cold lap with this cuddlebug.
Whilst Lilly loves to run and tumble with her siblings, it’s people company that impresses her most. And when those big puppy eyes look at you what choice do you have but to give another cuddle.
Typical puppy behaviour includes lots of waggy tail playtime followed by an equal amount of sleep, then eat. And repeat. Though her true personality is still emerging, Lilly shows intelligence, affection and loyalty. Lilly is also a little shy.
It would be great to see her go to a home with another dog for company and to help educate her about doggie stuff. But a work from home scenario or where there are kids (over 5 years old) to play with her will also be considered. Being so young and friendly she should be good with dog-aware children, remembering she is small and easy to hurt if handled badly or dropped.
It’s expected Lilly will grow to be a small to medium size dog.
Lilly is crate trained and sleeping though the night however, is too young to be fully toilet trained. Some training to go although puppy pee pads catch most of the mishaps and she is practicing really hard on grass, working to eliminate pee pads. She must be allowed inside and preference will be given to a home where she sleeps inside
Being so young, you’ll get the chance (and the responsibility) to have a massive impact on how healthy she grows up, her socialisation and most of all how well behaved she becomes via consistent training. Puppy School is highly recommended but is not essential if you are willing to be consistent with her training.
Lilly has had microchip, first vaccination and will be available for adoption now. For more information on Lilly please contact her foster carer Jillian on email drn.jillian@gmail.com. Lilly is currently foster care at Nelson Bay NSW, and is NOT available for interstate adoption, Lilly’s adoption fee is $700 each and covers her desexing and second vaccination. She has had her first vaccination, microchipping and treated for fleas/worms.
