About Jerry
Jerry has a zest for life that is absolutely infectious. His feline-like antics in how he prances and pounces in play will have you in fits of laughter. Jerry loves playing fetch with a furry toy or playing a game of tug - he is up for anything. Chances are he will adore the beach and if agility, fly ball etc. are your thing then Jerry could be up for that too. But most of all he just wants to love you, be by your side and your companion in life and fill your heart with pure joy.
He currently sleeps indoors in a crate and soundly through the night. Jerry must be allowed to continue being inside. He is doing wonderfully with ""place"" training and is mastering his ""sits"" and ""drops"" and ""gives"" too. Continuing his training is also a necessity.
Jerry is presently in foster care with a family of 4 and living alongside 3 dogs, 5 indoor dog savvy cats and a bunch of birds and has just blended in with perfection. He has formed a close bond with the teenage son so a family with teenage aged children would be ideal. Jerry hasn't met younger children yet. He is energetic, being a working breed dog and young, but is equally very happy to snuggle up next to you and chill.
Jerry has had very little exposure to indoor and outdoor objects and noises so ongoing socialisation is paramount. Certain things can still be very scary for him so patience while he accepts and adapts is a must.
Jerry could be an only dog as he is very human focussed but he would equally live alongside another dog. He would be best suited to someone who is home most of the time. Jerry must be included in your day to day activities as a part of your family. Jerry travels great in the car.
He is a clever, beautiful boy and has the most wonderful nature. He would make an absolutely delightful addition to a family. To apply, please fill out an application on the All 4 Paws website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/dog-adoption-formexpression-of-interest.html
