About Ripley
Ripley is a sweet loving girl that needs a job, by this we mean she would be great sporting dog prespect with the right person. She is currently working will with reward based balanced training.
She has been tested with an indoor cat (untested with outside cats), also tested with medium to large dogs (untested with small dogs)
Ripley came into care a little bit overweight and is currently showing that shes a medium drive type dog this could change however with her being down at an accepctable weight for her size
She is crate trained, house trained, kennel trained and tie out trained. She picks up new things very well and wants to please you.
When she arrived into the care of her foster career she had issues with pulling, she has stints every now and again but has gotten alot better on a slip collar with appropriate corrections.
She is a mouthy girl and does need to be told behave to get her to stop being a sook when it comes to things like grooming and maintenance and has a lot of "opinions" about this ( just mouthing and yelling from time to time),
but with rewards she gets over it very quickly and tolerates the discomfort.
She is yet to understand her own power and can be a bit over the top when playing.
On top of all of this she can be timid around new people and therefore we would prefer someone local to her or someone that is willing to collect her and work with her foster career during a hand over, if this isnt possible then an experinced handler woukd be our next option
Any support you need with her foster career is happy to help with and any questions at all as well.
