About Daredevil
Our little superhero, Daredevil, is the most darling boy you will ever find. He is kind and confident and will suit just about any home. He is content in a quiet home or in a home with lots of energy.
He is so incredibly loving and incredibly gentle in ever way. He hugs tightly and purrs quietly but strongly. He will love anyone who loves him back.
Don't let his eyes fool you! Daredevil is not blind and despite his impaired vision, he still runs, jumps, wrestles, cuddles and explores with the best of them. He can still happily see things generally, just struggles with small and silent things like playing with pesky hair ties.
While Daredevil likes a short trip outside to sit in the grass or bask in the sun, every now and then, he has to be an indoor cat. He lives a very happy and normal indoor life but isn't able to see well enough to be safe outdoors on his own.
This little superhero with a hear of gold can't wait to meet you!
Medical notes
Daredevil was rescued from the street at about 6 weeks old with his brother, both with severe cases of conjunctivitis from cat flu. After clearing their eyes scaring was left on both of Daredevil's eyes.
He has been to the Eye Clinic for Animals and had assessments done and also received surgery to reduce the scarring and correct entropion.
The Eye Clinic for Animals does not believe Daredevil will need any significant treatments or procedures in the future.
The only ongoing issues Daredevil has is that his eyes do get gunky often and every now and then the eyes will get a little agitated, requiring a few drops of eyedrops to soothe. These eyedrops can be simple drops such as Chlorsig and acquired from just about any pharmacy.
