About Arj
Meet our sweet young man Arj who has found his way to our shelter as a stray. With nobody stepping forward to claim him, we are now looking for a fun, loving family to offer Arj a new home.
He really is an awesome little guy - just look at his gorgeous face! Arj has a lovely nature, he is affectionate & super playful. He just loves his squeaky toys! From what we know of Arj so far, he seems to be a very sociable little chap, enjoying the company of other friendly dogs. He may well be able to co-habit with another canine companion & we would suggest a meet & greet for this to ensure that they can be besties. Separate areas should always be provided for feeding times &, to start with, all dog interactions should be supervised.
Arj is also very smart. He is coming along nicely in his training & is mastering the art of walking calmly on his harness & he has a lovely "Sit". A commitment to his ongoing positive reinforcement training would be ideal. He really enjoys learning new things for treats.
Arj is still a puppy &, in order to be a well rounded, confident adult, he needs lots of exposure to new experiences, places, people & dogs. So far, he has taken everything in his stride & is proving to be a favourite amongst volunteers & staff.
We would like Arj to be allowed to live indoors with his new family as he is very much a guy who thrives when he is around his people. Having had a romp to drain some of that puppy energy, he will settle happily at your feet.
Secure fencing & a high quality diet are essential.
Don't miss this opportunity to share your life with one amazing little dog with huge potential.
He is right here waiting for you!
Arj's adoption fee is $350 which includes his desexing, microchip, health check as well as up-to-date vaccinations, flea & worm treatments.
