About Kai
Please meet KAI, a cheerful and sweet-natured two-year-old male Cocker Spaniel, looking for a new home before Christmas.
A much-loved family pet, Kai was surrendered to us by his doting owner due to a sudden change in family circumstances and through no fault of his own.
Typical of his breed, Kai is a lively, clever and playful dog with a tail that's constantly wagging. Being around him just makes you feel happy.
People-orientated, Kai loves having human company all day long. He is great with other dogs and loves cats.
He sits on command and comes when called. He hasn't spent a lot of time on the lead, but is enthusiastic about going on walks and other outdoor adventures.
Kai loves water and swimming and, as you can see from the video, even a bucket of soapy water will do.

Preference will be given to a home where someone is around almost all the time. Like many Cockers, Kai is a bit clingy and wants to be with you wherever you happen to be, including in the car, at the coffee shop and on holidays.
His adoption fee is $1250 and he is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Kai lives in a private foster home in Warwick, Queensland and is available for interstate adoption.
Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) The "meet and greet" is held in Warwick, Queensland. If successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
