About Carmel
Carmel is a lovely 12 week old kelpie/border collie cross, who is a smart little cookie! She has a beautiful temperament and is very affectionate.
While in foster care Carmel has been living with her four siblings and has grown into a confident pup. She loves bossing her brothers around and enjoys a good game of chasey and doggy playtime.
Carmel has started walking well on the lead and is also working on her toilet training. She is human-focused and responds well to boundaries and structure. She is very interested in our resident older canines, and wants to make friends, and would love a well-rounded dog to keep her company and show her the ropes. Carmel has been living close to chickens and has been very respectful of them. She has not been exposed to cats yet.
Carmel is from a working mum and is very active and smart and looking for a forever family who can make the most of her potential. She will need a home that is experienced with working breeds and who is committed to her ongoing training and mental stimulation requirements, and involve her in their everyday lives to make sure she grows up into a well-adjusted dog.
She can’t wait to meet her forever hoomans and give them loads of love and affection. So if you think you can give Carmel the home she is looking for apply now!
Carmel is located in Vic …
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
