Iggy is very sweet, very gentle, very affectionate and absolutely loves people. She would make the perfect companion for someone seeking a super affectionate smooch to snuggle with regularly and who wants to fill their house, home and life with unconditional love.

Iggy is very people motivated and absolutely adores human company, so whoever is fortunate enough to add her to their life is really in for something special.

She is a super cuddly lap cat that is always in the mood for affection. She likes to sleep on your lap when you're chilling on the couch and curl up in bed with you at night time.

She does not like to be picked up though. That's a big no no.

Iggy has quite a quirky yet adorable personality and her antics will be a constant source of amusement. She's also a bit of a princess and would much prefer a kingdom to herself so she can have 100% of her humans attention.

I do however think that she would eventually come to tolerate other cats over time but early days there would be plenty of funny growl noises if another cat got too close 😂

Her kind and gentle nature makes her perfect for almost any situation. Iggy is approximately 6 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
