About Samantha
This gorgeous senior Himalayan girl is Samantha (aka Sammi or Squirt)….she is almost ready to celebrate her 15th birthday and still looks sooo young!
Samantha arrived in care with 2 other senior cats after her owner had sadly passed away and the other had been moved into a nursing home….leaving no one to care for the cats. She did need a good clip and groom on arrival and unfortunately had to be shaved, but her fur is growing back beautifully.
This pretty ball of fluff is looking for the quiet life….once she settles into her new home, you will most certainly see her personality shine through. Sammi has a loud purr, loves to sleep in your lap, on a window sill in the sun, or outside in a secure cat run.
She has a great appetite but does seem to prefer wet food over biscuits (but will eat them). Sammi has had a few teeth removed and dental done when she arrived in care, but otherwise is in great health for her age. She enjoys munching on some cat grass, will chat to you (especially around dinner time), and occasionally plays with toys. She loves being brushed and will need regular brushing to keep her coat smooth and tangle free.
Sammi is litter trained, tolerates other cats well, but not had exposure to dogs during her time in care. She is looking for her retirement home….a place where she can relax and feel comfortable. She would make a great companion for that special someone looking for some company.
Sammi is located in Narara on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
