About Birdie
Birdie has recently been released into our care from a research facility.
Birdie is the whole package. Shes super smart, playful, sweet and beautiful with loooong legs. Most of the time she uses those smarts for hunting toys and trying to break into bags of treats.
She's confident when she knows you and will race to the door to greet you, but can take a while to warm up to new people and new things. A house with too much going on might be too much for her as she builds her confidence.
Birdie is looking for a family that can help get all her energy out hunting for mice on strings but also cuddle her on the couch after dinner. She's a ferocious predator and can hunt and chase toys for a very long time. But she would never hurt you!
She will let you know when it is time for playing or cuddling with lots of chirps and meows. She'd love to be able to cuddle into your armpit, but any little spot she can wedge herself into is great. Birdie tolerates being picked up. She's an independent woman with places to be and you're getting in the way.
She is happy to find a sunny spot to sleep in for the day but would also love to stick her tail in whatever you're doing if it looks fun.
If you're looking for a brilliant cat with a lot of personality, energy and love to give, Birdie could be your match!
Birdie is best suited to a child free home, an indoor only home (access to a cat run is great if available) and a home who will allow her to continue to shine like the superstar that she is.
Birdie is litter trained, desexed, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.
***indoor homes only
