Hi, my name is Patricia aka Patsy. I am the luckiest little girl around thanks to Safe and the vet who worked together to save my life. I even got named after Patrick who was my vet. My foster carer calls me Patsy for short.

My parents are unknown but everyone says I am going to be a mid-sized dog when I grow up. I currently live with lots of cats and a big boy dog who I adore. I have received a few swipes from the cats, they say they need to teach me a lesson when I get too bouncy and playful. I am sweet but a little shy around new people. I am friendly once I know they will be nice to me.

I am probably going to be medium energy, so not a super high achiever like a kelpie, but I will need walks and mental stimulation. I have already demonstrated my puppy penchant for chewable shoes and am just like every other puppy in that respect, you might need to keep your valuables up out of reach until I grow up!

I could live in most homes including ones with cats, dogs and kids.

Want to know more about how you teach a pup to be a great dog? I'd like to do training every day so that I learn the commands of sit, stay, come, down, no, stop and leave it. And once I've learnt them, I need to keep practicing them every day too. That way I'll learn to obey what you tell me to do. Being consistent and clear with your boundaries will mean I always know the right way to behave. Getting out to exercise at least once a day (and twice for working dog breeds) is vital to stimulate my brain and body. It creates important opportunities for me to meet strangers, other dogs and other animals, plus it tires me out! Tell me ""no"" if I'm chewing something I shouldn't and give me a chew toy instead. I'd love to have a range of chew toys that you can swap around so I don't get bored with them.
