Hi, my name is Freddie, or sometimes Foster Mum calls me Fred. Since coming into foster care I have been thriving.
I am very food motivated and am easy to train. I have learnt to sit and walk on the lead. I’m still learning to stay and to return the ball when it's thrown to me. I also have a tendency to jump when I’m excited but I’m working on that.
I haven’t played with small children so not sure how they will be with me. They might be a bit scary as loud noises or yelling will see me run and hide.
I have 2 foster siblings - another large dog and a cat. I like to annoy and chase the cat, that’s when Foster Mum gets cranky.
I do get excited when my foster humans get up in the morning and when they get home in the afternoon, particularly Foster Mum.
I’m a big mummy’s boy, who loves to sit near my favourite human, and I love cuddles. Mornings are the best...when dad leaves I’m allowed in the bed to snuggle with Foster Mum.
My new family will need to have patience with me as I adjust to the changes in living. Once I’m comfortable, we will have the best life and I will be your best friend for life.
Look forward to meeting you soon!
