About Chad
Chad the happy lad is ready to find his loving forever home.
Chad is a 1 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier Cross that still displays puppy like behaviours so whoever adopts this boy needs to be aware he will chew items.
Chad is good with other dogs, great to walk on lead and has some basic manners. He is still learning to keep 4 paws on the ground so will jump up when excited.
Chad is in foster care with a female staffy and they play very well together. Chad has always had the company of another staffy so we want to find him a family with another dog.
In true staffy style Chad bonds strongly to his humans. So his new home needs have an understanding of the staffy breed. Chad has not yet mastered the doggy door in foster care (it is a bit scary pushing your face into a hole with a flap) but is doing very well with his toiletting.
Chad goes to his new home flea and worm treated, had his first C5 vaccination (needs a booster in a months time), desexed and microchipped. Chad's adoption fee is $700.
If you meet the following criteria you could be a good match for Chad;
✅️ know and understand the staffy breed and the fact they bond strongly.
✅️ Good secure fencing. The Staffy breed are known escape artists if left home alone.
✅️ Have another dog 🐶 for company and play mate (preferably a female but not essential)
✅️ Understanding that Chad is still a puppy and that he will run off with things left around and will chew things.
✅️ Committed to continue his training.
If you meet the above criteria please email us at Phoenixarh@outlook.com and tell us how you meet the above criteria.
Chad's adoption fee is $700.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
