Hi my name is Lexi and I am a sweet 2yr & 10mth Beagle x Border Terrier. I am full of energy and would be best suited to a household where I am given daily walks and lots of fun enrichment to get my little beagle nose active! Kongs, hiding treats around the backyard and even some fun scent work games will make me very happy. I can be a bit timid around new people at first, so please let me approach them at my own pace and help me make positive associations by offering me treats in the meantime. Due to my shyness, I would prefer to go to a quiet, mature and consistent household with no young kids. I can be a little cheeky, so it would be best for me to be in a structured household that can provide me with quality ongoing training, exercise and mental stimulation. I have met a few doggy friends while at the shelter, so it is important that my new owners introduce me to other dogs carefully while observing our body language closely to make sure we're both comfortable with the interaction. If you already have another playful medium or large dog at home, please bring them in for a matchup. If I meet all the requirements your looking for in a gorgeous gal like me, then I cant wait to meet you!
