Basil

Basil was surrendered to a local pound after his owner that has dementia had to enter a nursing home.
Basil has lived a fairly sheltered life and on the first day in care was shy but it did not take more then 24 hours for his sunny nature to come out.
Basil has a lot of love to give. In his old home he was paper trained, okay with most small dogs but can be scared of large dogs. His foster carer has cats and Basil has not shown much interest (but the cats are pretty chilled and as large as him)

Basil was found at his first vet check to have a heart murmur and it has been recommended he take meds for this to prevent problems in his future, Basil is not having any symptoms at this time.
