About Chance - 2 Year Old Staffy X (On Trial 10/6/23)
Meet Chance, our 2-year-old Staffy X who has blessed us with his presence.
This boy has everything you need in a doggy best friend.
Chance is gentle and affectionate. We always see Chance cuddled up next a volunteer, getting a good belly rub or offering his hugs and kisses in thanks.
Chance is dog friendly, he loves to play and go on walks with doggy friends. Chance has lived with other dogs and his carers have reported he is very well behaved.
Chance knows sit, wait and paw. He will sit and wait on command for his food.
As he is eager to please and treat orientated, it makes him a great dog to train more skills and tricks. Chance is nice to walk on the lead, he responds well to gentle redirection and has good recall to his name. Chance is not food or toy aggressive.
We believe Chance would love to have a doggy friend to live with but also be quite happy as an only dog. If Chance was to be adopted into a home with another dog, a meet and greet would need to be arranged prior to adoption. We have not tested Chance with cats or pocket pets.
Chance is looking for a forever home which includes a single, couple or family with older children. Chance would love if his family was home most of the time, as he loves good company but is able to settle and rest if they are away short times. Chance is a medium sized dog and requires a family who will walk him on a daily basis. Chance’s new home will need secure 6ft fencing, no rural fencing (mesh or wire) will be accepted.
