About Bonnie
Bonnie was born from a Bull Arab Mum and a Cavoodle Dad, and brought home as a pup by a teenage boy. The boys family couldn’t say no to him, kept Bonnie and then did nothing with her. She was kept in their yard and given no training.
The family have fairly recently moved house, and have inadequate fencing and have been keeping Bonnie on a chain to stop her escaping.
We were then asked to take her into care.
Poor Bonnie arrived covered in burrs and with an extremely sore, cracked, sunburned nose.
Fast forward a few weeks and what an adorable girl we have shining through.
She is soooo sweet and loving with her foster human. She craves human company, affection and pats - which she is getting, of course. She wants to please her human all the time, and is doing well with general training.
Bonnie has shown zero interest in running away from her foster home, now she is loving life.
She adores the other dogs, and plays and plays with them all day.
As you can see she is also a fan of going out for walks, and enjoys having a dip in the dam.
Her coat is wiry and she does well with regular brushing.
She would love her forever family to be an active one, where she has a daily walk, maybe a run at the beach or a hike, maybe go camping etc.
She wants to spend time with her family, indoors and out. Preferably with another dog to play with.
Bonnie only weighs 15kgs, so although she is a leggy girl, she is only just into the medium bracket for dogs.
Please note our location is Moree, northern NSW.
