About Pops - 2 Year Old Staffy X - On Trial 8/1/23
Meet handsome Pops, a 2-year-old male, dark brown and white Staffy x cuddle bunny.
Pops loves going for car rides, walks and wrestling with his foster sister, then having a well- earned nap as close as possible or on top of his foster carer. His favourite toy is anything he can play tug with.
Pops is well socialised and friendly with other dogs. He can be shy when meeting new people but once he has taken a minute to have a good sniff, he’s super friendly.
Pops is a good boy and will sit, come, wait nicely for food and is toilet trained. Pops will need to be welcome in your home, and have access to a fully fenced yard to explore all the exciting noises and smells. At night he’s happiest sleeping on his mat on the floor next to your bed but will also happily sleep out of your room.
Pops is best suited as an only dog or to a dog similar age or older, he can get a little irritated with too much puppy jumping. He’s happy being left home alone with his foster sister but doesn’t like to be left home alone at the moment.
Pops is a beautiful, loving, gentle boy who deserves a fantastic forever home.
To register your interest in adopting Pops you can fill out the adoption questionnaire here https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
PLEASE NOTE: When applying for our dogs and puppies, please ensure to list the name of the dog you wish to adopt. Please do NOT just list the reference number or the microchip number as this will delay your application reaching the correct foster carer.
You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au or www.petrescue.com.au
Pops is in foster care in the Anna Bay, NSW area. They are not currently available for interstate adoption. The adoption fee is $400.00 and they are desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
This organisation's adoption policy is moderate. What does this mean?
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire: https://tinyurl.com/drnadopt
(2) If the questionnaire is approved we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) After that we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home, nearby park or your home.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
