Hi I'm Geoffrey
I'm a sharpei x boy who's approx 18mths old.
I was saved from a nsw pound and bought to Vic after I was left there in an over night drop box, like a piece of unwanted garbage, but I don't dwell on that because being left there that night, was actually the beginning of my new life which I'm greatly for.

My life in foster care has been so great, my foster mum has been doing lots of training with me and she said that I've improved dramatically from when I first arrived with no manners at all.

Not long ago I got adopted, I was so happy to think I had finally found a, forever home of my own but sadly that didn't work out because my new owner worked long hours and I was left completely on my own everyday.
She felt it was unfair to me as I always looked so sad so she felt giving me up so I can find another family who have another dog for me to play with would really be what I need.
And I would love that.

She said it is important that my forever home will treat me as a valued member of their family. That they include me in their everyday life and when they can't, that there is a canine friend to keep me company.

I absolutely adore my people, whether they are young or old but being a pup still myself, I can get alittle over excited when someone wants to play with me so caution will be needed around when little kids are there so I don't accidentally knock them over in my happiness.
This behaviour will of course pass as I mature so it's not a trait I will hold on to forever or anything I'm just simply being a pup in a not so pup body but In saying that I'm not a huge dog by any means, I weigh 20.4 kg and am roughly the size of a kelpie.

People who meet me say how lucky the family who adopt me will be, as I'm truly a beautiful boy and with alittle time spent on me teaching me what's right and wrong, I'll grow to be the perfect dog anyone could wish for

I hope they're right as i would love more than anything to have my own family who I can spend Christmas with, lots of Christmases with actually.
