About Tate - 10 Week Old Kelpie x(On Hold 19/12/22)
Handsome Tate the 10 week old Kelpie x is looking for his adventure buddy for life.
Tate loves to play so a fun and active home with lots of toys and outings is a must. He is looking for someone who can meet the level of enrichment he needs, which means puzzles, toys and daily training and walks so that Tate can be a calm and happy puppy.
In foster care Tate has a foster playmate of similar age but unfortunately she can not keep up with his energy. If you already have a dog in your home, one to match his fitness would be wonderful for him.
Tate also loves humans and will often sit and watch you busy around the house. He is a confident boy and will happily enjoy someone approach him for a pat and has worked out the quickest way to get that love is by sitting nicely like the good boyo he is.
Tate is in the perfect age to learn good manners around the house and out socially and has not yet received much on lead training. He would love someone with the time to invest in his training so that he can follow you on adventures and be the best doggo he can be.
Tate or Taters as his younger foster family members call him find him to be fun and playful but can sometime get vocal if they don't play with him for long enough. He is working on this in care and meeting his enrichment needs will divert this behaviour. Families with children will be considered as long as they are of age to be puppy aware with gentle hands. Tate has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
