About Lexi
If you are interested in Lexi, or any of our Greyhounds, we require you to fill in our application form - https://forms.gle/w1iDu99Rx4PpvG7e7
Oh hello, I am Alexa, but everyone calls me Lexi! Its been a blessing in disguise when I broke my leg during a race, because that meant for me that I could retire early! And gosh, I love being a pet now! I love all these dog beds and when I manage to get up, I love couches and human beds as well. My foster mum says I am the roaching queen! So comfy!
I live with my two foster greyhounds and even with a whippet for a short while and we all got on great! I met other breeds at the vet and I didn't mind them either! But if you don't have a buddy for me, that's ok! I love being around humans!
During the last weeks in foster care, I really came out of my shell, I love throwing toys around and be a crazy good ball! I learned how to do all stairs in my foster home - despite my healing leg! Oh yeah about that! I had a cast on for 9 weeks, so I am still hobbling a bit, particularly when I am in a hurry. Apparently, I am supposed to take it easy at the moment, so it can really heal and I can gain all my strength back in my back leg!
I sleep through the night and get excited for walks! I walk nicely on the lead, and know where the toilet is, no accidents in the house (yet!)!
My dream home would have only few stairs and lots of love from the human(s). I can do a few hours alone, but I am still young and love to goof around with another dog or with a human as well! I am pretty much an allrounder that adores food! I love food so much - I will train with you for anything you want me to teach :) I know "Down", "Wait" and "Touch" already!
At Homeward Bound Hounds, we pride ourselves on matching the right dog to the right family. We need to know more about you and your home to find the best possible match.

Medical notes
Had a broken leg, which was fixed and Lexi was in a cast for 9 weeks. It is now week 3 without it and she is making great progress in building muscle in that leg.
