Meet the lovely Sophie, who was brought to our shelter a month ago as a very terrified, but very sweet young lass.

Sophie has been in foster care while she gains some courage, and while she is still a little timid, she is an absolute purr machine. Sophie is going to need a home with a family with a lot of patience while she navigates her new house, and we are recommending a quiet home environment for her.

Sophie is not keen to be picked up but loves a good scratch and pat when you have her trust. She adores other cats and has put up with a retriever and teenagers, it is a condition of her adoption that Sophie go to a home with another cat.
