About Cherry
Cherry is your typical loveable French Bulldog x pug full of energy and pazzzazzzz! At only 2 years of age Cherry is still full of energy, playfulness and loves cuddles
Cherry loves to get out and about everywhere, parks, cafes, beaches and to her foster carers office each day so it is very important that these adventures and inclusion in activities will continue in her new home. Cherry thrives on a moderately active lifestyle – enjoying 2 walks a day, plays at the dog park, or just sitting next to you at a café or park bench watching the world go by with you.
Whilst she is great with all dogs of all sizes she meets outside of her foster home, Cherry is best suited to a home without another dog in the home as she just loves to be the centre of attention in the home.
Cherry travels well in the car and is great on leash on walks.
As with all our dogs Cherry must always have access inside and out and must be permitted to sleep in the bedroom at night (on the bed if possible)
We are looking for adopters who are looking for a dog to truly be part of the family, access inside, daily adventures and exercise, mental stimulation, force-free training, and of course lots of love and attention! So a home where adopters are home more often than not is the best fit for Cherry or even better a home where she could go into the office with you if you have to go into the office.
If you would like to meet the gorgeous Cherry please send us an email to sasrescue@gmail.com with as much information as possible re your lifestyle, working hours, existing pets, family members, etc.
Medical notes
As Cherry is brachycephalic breed her new owners need to be careful not to overheat her as these breeds are very prone to heatstroke. So no exercise in the heat of the day other than short walks and monitor her exercise at other times
Cherry has had a nostril enlargement as part of her vet work (also desexed, vaccinated, dental with extractions, heartworm tested (negative) and on monthly flea/heartworm and worming)
Cherry has grade II luxating patellas on both legs. This does not require surgery at this point, however, may require surgery at some stage in the future so her new owner will need to be in a position financially to provide for this surgery if required.
