NOTE: You are unable to meet Wolfy until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Wolfy in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.


What I need in my new home:
• BREED KNOWLEDGE IS PREFERRED
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
• I can be bouncy & mouthy when excited so am only suited to a home with kids if they are dog savvy
• I like both friendly male and female dogs. I am energetic and playful so may be to full on for some other doggos, if the other dog acts aggressively to me I will retaliate back

Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or small animals as I like to bark at them and may find them fun to chase

My best features:
• I am a lovely & cheery boy with a happy-go-lucky look on life
• Very playful
• I can sit (when I want to)
• I love play handling, belly rubs and snuggles on the couch
• I walk well on lead most of the time
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• I LOVE all toys and almost have playing fetch down pat
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• Exuberant & full of beans

Where I need to improve / Training required
• I will benefit from further basic training so that i become the best behaved and mannered boy that I can
• I can be a little ignorant at times especially when distracted so I must have a close bond and be attentive to my new owner before even considering being let off lead at off leash locations etc.
• I walk quite well on the lead and only pulls lightly however i can be a little erratic when excited or startled by something - training and socialisation will help with this
• I can be a bit bouncy - training & positive reinforcement should stop this
