About Trixie
Trixie is a happy girl who loves people and will say hi to anyone she meets.
She can be barky to some dogs while on lead but not to others. In the home she
is mostly ok with another dog but she becomes competitive and bossy over
toys and attention so she would be best as the only dog in the home. Expect to
have a little shadow who follows you everywhere!
Don’t be fooled by the short legs……Trixie has a lot of energy and loves walks
at a quick pace. After a walk there is still plenty left in the tank for tug of war or
throwing a toy around the room. Trixie is great with kids and once playtime is
over she loves to snuggle up on the couch.
Trixie is toilet trained and sleeps quietly at night. Her coat will require grooming.
She can suffer car sickness which her foster carer has been working on with her and is starting to show improvement. Her new family would ideally carry on with this otherwise car
trips will continue to be stressful and messy.
Trixie is a pocket rocket looking for an active and interesting life and humans who have time to give her all the cuddles and endless ball throwing she demands.
If I sound perfect for you, please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Trixie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
She is in perfect health.
