Rex

Hi I’m Rex, my siblings and I make up the R litter. We were all saved from a regional pound after being dumped on the side of the road near some railway track. We were extremely malnourished but now we are healthy and ready to find our forever homes.

I am super chill, gentle and love human cuddles and could easily adapt to being an only dog.

I get along well with other dogs, I am doing great with my manners and I am still learning to understand when they’ve had enough of my antics. I would do okay as an only dog, as I show lots of affection towards humans and have shown I have a chill nature.

I have been around cats and show no real interest in them, I do sometimes play a little rough and will need more consistent interactions around them.

I adore toys of any kind, balls, squeaky toys or teddies. I especially like the kind I can chew and run around with.

I absolutely adore everyone I meet, I would love to have some children in my new home to run around with and give all my love too. I adore belly rubs and snuggles. I can be a little jumpy when first seeing people but settle quickly, so need consistency in my training.

I currently spend my days outside with my sisters and foster sibling. I love to run around the yard with them and go exploring in the gardens, finding leaves and sticks that I can crunch and chew on.

I currently sleep in an open crate in the garage connected to a large outdoor area where I have free access to. I sleep well with no problems

I can sometimes be a bit grumpy at meal times and don’t like sharing my food bowl, so please ensure I am fed separately to any other dogs or supervised.

I haven’t spent much time inside of late, but when I do I know to use the puppy pads, so may still have some accidents as I learn.
