Smurf is a gorgeous 1 year old with big chockie eyes and a beautiful nature who is full of potential. She’s on the shy and submissive side, but don’t be fooled, Smurf is very intelligent, and food motivated. In her short time in care she has been crate trained, toilet trained (she’s on her learners so an adopter would need to stay on top of that) she learned to sit and wait and has learnt walk nicely on leash. As respectful as she is on leash, further work on socialisation and training will benefit Smurf greatly as she is super friendly and therefore interested in all two and four legged friends she meets along the way and can get a little distracted.

Smurf is a sweet and gentle lass in every way and has been around cats and children as young as 4, she is very aware of their sizes and is extra gentle to accommodate them and making sure they are safe.

Smurf also likes other dogs and could benefit from a gentle doggo friend but it's not necessary, she'd be happily devoted to just her humans or cats if that was on offer.

She is the sweetest little lady and has been an absolute pleasure to be around with her bright and cheery disposition always “on”. She has lots of love to give and has potential to be a wonderful companion/family dog with ongoing training and of course opportunity to burn off a bit of that kelpie energy.
