About Salem
This handsome young man is Salem, a domestic short haired born 6th September 2020.
When Salem came in to the facility he was quite feral, but after months of rehab and socialising he now enjoys the company of humans and demands attention if you walk by without petting him. He is now an affectionate boy who loves having a neck scratch.
Salem is a shy boy & licks his stomach as a calming mechanism.
He has been around other cats, but even though he is a big boy he is very gentle and submissive. He does tend to get picked on by one of the other male cats at the facility, but his first instinct is to hide.
Salem is such a gorgeous boy and he will be rehomed to a family who are willing to keep him as an inside cat only.
If you think you could be that furever family for Salem, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
His adoption fee is $170 & this includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registrations. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Salem is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
