Gorgeous Waylen is a typical happy puppy, he loves to play, snuggle up on the couch with you, get pats, being cheeky and is eager to learn new things. But Waylen is also deaf and therefore needs a special person who is willing to train him with hand signals. Being deaf it is important to put time and dedication into training and obedience classes. But Waylen is a clever boy who is easily motivated by treats. He is currently learning to sit, wait and come with hand signals. This is still a work in progress and will need to be continued in his forever home.

Waylen is currently in care with older children and another dog. He loves to play with other dogs, just needs to learn to understand the cues when it is time to stop (due to his deafness). Waylen has met a cat, he shows some interest to initiate play. Being a puppy with slow introduction, he would be ok to live with a confident cat.

Waylen is doing really well with his house training, he sleeps at night in his crate in the bedroom without any accidents.

Waylen is looking for a forever home where he is a part of his family's daily life and activities, someone who is committed to take their puppy to puppy school and dog obedience to make Waylen flourish and achieve the best he can be.
