Gizmo

In the market for a younger husky? Gizmo might just be the lad for you. He’s a handsome 1yr old black and white boy who has his whole life ahead of him. His future is bright!

Gizmo came to us via a pound, and he got along great with all of the dogs he met there. He’s in foster care with a male dog, and gets along very well with him, playing and just hanging out together.
Gizmo is very friendly with everyone he meets and is well mannered young boy.

He’s a very playful, beautiful natured boy who is very loving and trusting with that typical puppy excitable added to his personality. He has his carer in stitches laughing at his husky antics.
There’s a lot of upside for any potential adopters who are thinking of welcoming Gizmo into their family. He travels well in the car, is house trained, doesn’t jump on the furniture, likes to sleep on his bed or on the floor (he also likes sleeping outside when the weather is good), and is so loving and affectionate he comes up constantly for loves and pats.

Gizmo LOVES his walks, and pulls at first then settles in, and has to smell everything! He already knows how to sit, drop, stay, fetch and loves being bribed with treats. He’ll learn anything you want to show him.

He needs a family that has lots of time and energy for him and has time for at least 2 walks a day or lots of playtime. Gizmo, being a husky pup, has lots of energy to burn but he also enjoys his down time. We do know he needs a decent toy basket to keep him busy, as he does love to chew on anything if he has no toys.
He also needs some help to be less protective of his food.

His foster has told us that Gizmo is a very loving dog who understands boundaries, is a very quick learner who wants to please his people, and is a beautiful trusting soul. Gizmo is dog friendly and would love a playful canine companion suitably sized to match him.
