Tux

Young Tux is on the lookout for his forever home, and at only 15 weeks old, his potential is limitless! Tux, a Border Collie x Kelpie, was surrendered to Pawfect Pals along with his littermates at 8 weeks of age - an accidental litter (thankfully their mum is now desexed so there won’t be any more accidents!).

Tux is a very typical of his breed mix; clever, active, friendly and playful. He is also very cuddly and loves to snuggle on the couch. He is learning all about the big wide world whilst in foster care and is doing brilliantly with the help of his furry foster brother. He absolutely loves to play with other dogs and has good manners around them. He would do well with another active and well behaved older dog, but equally will thrive as an only dog getting all the attention from his people.

Tux loves to learn and will need to go to a home committed to his ongoing training (whether in a formal capacity or utilising past training experience). He can be shy in new environments but adapts quickly. A home experienced with herding breeds would be ideal as he is very active and has shown that he has some herding drive, as he’ll need someone capable of harnessing his potential. Teaching an off switch will be vital.
