About Oscar
Oscar has been making a list for Santa and right at the top is a lovely new home. Oscar is a fantastic dog that is intelligent, cuddly and sweet and would make a great addition to most homes.
He loves children and can't wait to play games in his new backyard and have cuddles on the grass. He likes playing with his ball and might have even asked Santa for a new one of those too!
Oscar is great with other dogs and would happily share his new home with a canine pal. If you've already got a dog, Oscar would love to meet them and become best buddies. If you don't already have a dog, then Oscar will happily accept all the pats and hugs for himself.
Relaxed and happy to go with the flow, Oscar is okay to chill out in the garden while you're out at work as long as he's got somewhere safe to hide out from any scary summer storms. This sensitive soul doesn't like the thunder and lightning and wants to curl up on his bed until the storm goes away.
He might not like storms, but Oscar sure loves water! Oscar will make the most of the opportunity to splash about if you visit the beach, lakes, creeks or dams.
Oscar is a low-maintenance dog in most ways and only requires a weekly bath and brushing to keep his gorgeous coat looking Instagram-ready. He's a good boy for his baths and absolutely loves being brushed!
Oscar's only other request for his new home is that they mix a little rice into his dinner. Oscar loves rice. Rice is his favourite food. In fact, he won't eat his dry food unless you've kicked it up a notch with the secret ingredient!
One last adorable fun fact about Oscar…he's discovered that the sound of the kettle is the key sign that his hoomans are awake. When he hears the sound of the kettle, he'll get up from his bed and give a gentle little 'woof' to say good morning! How sweet is that!
So does Oscar sound like the perfect dog or what? Can you picture this lovely boy becoming the newest member of your family?

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
