PROFILE, PERSONALITY, AND NEEDS JIMMY'S NEW HOME
My cover has been blown!
I entered the pound several months ago as 007 and James Bond is the name. I broke out, James Bond style and was whisked away. But to protect my identity I am now known as Jimmy. I have taken refuge with my foster carers who love me very much and will protect me from the authorities!
I am a middle-aged gentleman now, still with the impeccable manners I have grown up with. I would love a Martini but have been advised that this would not be in my best interests! I have overheard conversations that I must find a fur ever home where Mr Big will never find me.
Now, being a rather debonair chap, I would prefer a more mature family, perhaps a retired couple, somewhere that I can soak up all the attention. I am currently living with teenagers and another dog so I may also like that type of home.
I love to lay on my back and have my belly and chin scratched. I like to sleep with my humans but will reluctantly accept sleeping on my own plush bed in the bedroom but really would prefer your bed!
I love getting out and about in the car and for walks. I really am a fan of all people I meet on my walks but do particularly love to stop for a chat with any older gentlemen that I meet on my walks (in my disguise, of course)!!
I would love to live a quiet life away from fast cars and constantly being seen as the celebrity that I am. I have become mellow over time and now want to live in safety and with loads of love. I want to be YOUR 001!! Jimmy xx
Basic needs in the home
Jimmy must be allowed inside at all times and be permitted to sleep inside in a warm area at night and cuddle on the couch at times.
We are looking for adopters who are looking for a dog to truly be part of the family, access inside, daily adventures and exercise, mental stimulation, force-free training, and of course lots of love and attention! So a home where adopters are home more often than not is the best fit for Jimmy although Jimmy is able to be left alone for a few hours.
If you would like to meet Jimmy please send us an email to sasrescue@gmail.com with as much detail as possible on yourself and the home you are able to provide including your location, contact number, your other pets (if any), family members, lifestyle, exercise and mental stimulation you will provide, how often Jimmy would be alone, where he will have access in the home, where Jimmy would go if you went away and could not take him with you, ability to cover vet expenses and any other information you wish to provide
Medical notes
Jimmy has undergone 6 months treatment for Heartworm. He is now heartworm negative. Jimmy will need to return to our vets Beverly Hills Animal Hospital in 6 months' time for a follow up blood test the cost of which is included in the adoption fee
Adoption details
SAS will arrange a "meet and greet" with our rescue pet and we offer a two week trial period if we feel that the rescue pet and the prospective family are well matched.
Most interviews will be held in the Peakhurst area
