About Beau
Beau is a beautiful, sweet & shy 19-week-old Kelpie x Australian Cattle Dog boy. His unique markings always get admiring comments as he has stunning ‘cookie’s & cream’ speckles on his front legs and traditional Kelpie black & tan back legs!
He is a lovely natured little guy and a bit of a comical dork at times! He enjoys a good run around the yard but is also quite happy chilling out by the back door. He is very respectful towards his 5yr old Kelpie foster siblings (both male & female). He loves interactions with other dogs and would be most happy in a home with a calm, confident older dog who still wants to play but who will also be a strong reassuring leader/role model for him. He does not necessarily need another working breed buddy, as his energy levels are not as typically high as most Kelpie mix dogs would be.
He has been working hard on building his confidence while in foster care but still has a way to go. Ideally Beau needs an adopter that has experience building confidence in dogs and the patience to continue working with him. He may never be an adventurous dog, or overly bold and confident, but once he trusts you, he will give the best kisses, snuggles and cuddles on the couch!
He has been in foster care in a suburban setting with most days spent pottering around the yard with his foster siblings. A few games of chasey with his pals, chewing on an array of toys, and a fair number of naps in the sun are always high on his daily 'to do' list!
Beau is very well behaved when inside the house and mostly naps or plays with his toys in his dog bed. He also sleeps soundly all night in his crate and is toilet trained. He excels at 'food puzzles' and quickly works out how to get his meal out of them!
Beau would be suitable to life in quiet outer suburbs with a large yard and secure fencing. He is looking for a quiet home with a fairly set daily routine and with no children under 15yrs. Young children would currently be a bit too much for him and he will be able to better overcome his shyness in a predominantly adult environment.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
